Elections are dominated by money. It cost’s a huge amount of money to have any chance of getting elected. Candidates understand that they are obligated to special interests groups that help finance their campaign, & that if they don’t “come through” they can kiss that financial help good-by.

It’s bad but it works the same for Dem.’s & Republicans.

Solution: prohibit campaign financing in any form by unions, corporations, & deep pocket special interest org’s.
