Given that Dean helped pass Vermont’s state health insurance policies, and given that Vermont has one of the best universal health coverage policies in the nation, I’d say that Dean is far more truthful in talking about this senate bill than anyone right now in the senate. Dean isn’t bucking for a re-election senate seat. He’s just getting out there and telling it like it is.
Dean says this will help private companies. Congresswomen (D) Jan Schakowsky said its ment to drive the private insurance companies out of buisness.

Obama makes all of these GUARANTEES but he does not mention the GUARANTEE of the cancer death rate increasing or the GUARANTEE of the money for medical research decreasing and an almost certain GUARANTEE of less money to health care workers, therefore less people entering health care programs. And a probable GUARANTEE of a poorer health care system

Your last comment doesn’t make you any less ideological than myself. Just because I’m a Conservative Republican doesn’t mean I agree with everything that has happened. One thing that upsets me about the healthcare bill is noone knows what is in it. If the bill is so great, why not tell the people?? The contents of the bill is being hidden for a reason.
You are right. I don’t know the answer and neither does anyone else. But I can tell you what is NOT the answer and that is more government. As part of the “bail out” the government purchased $250 billion of stocks from banks. If legislation is passed giving the government complete control of healthcare, the government will control well over 50% of the United States of AMERICA’s cash flow.
