They killed the Public Option because the insurance industry agreed to take over Medicare and Medicaid.
Been arguing that the health care bill was for insurance companies for months and all the pro health care wouldn’t listen. Of course they want this reform it makes it illegal for people not to have insurance, the coverage by the gov option is going to cost tax payers $14,000 per family per year that it covers. As it stands now I pay 1/4 of that for decent coverage for my family, how is this better?
REPEAL the TAX & JAIL Mandate bill nobody ever wanted..
& Send it back to “real” sentaors next time for a do-over..

your use of the term “liberal” is confusing. To me, liberal means free markets and individualism – the antithesis of concentration camps. As far as health care, the real liberal solution would be to allow full interstate competition of health insurance.
i bet the jews and christians who were being murdered by a liberal government in concentration camps wished they had a choice in their health care…
Additionally, I never thought about ..what will happen to me if I get seriously sick because when I do, there is no way in hell I am not going to be treated or have to pay a single dime additionally for my treatment. This peace of mind is what insurance is for. I pay 230$ a month for my insurance.
I am from Germany and I am really amazed to the extend Americans are brainwashed through the cooperations. I have the freedom to buy public or private insurance and I think there would be a revolution here if someone would try to take that right away from us. But in the US a large portion of the population is actually fighting to not be able to choose between public and private. I really dont get it.
I hope for you you are lobbyist for the health industry because otherwise you are a sad sad individual completely bainwashed by cooperations.

The reason health insurance stocks went up is that savvy investors fully expected the people that represent the health insurance mafia to be rounded up and sent to Guantanamo for having done more damage to the US of A than bin Laden could ever even dream of.
When that didn’t happen, stocks went up.

i didn’t know it was a meme to congratulate them, i just like doing it. so i have not misunderstood.
It is baffling how easily they spend on war but not on things that would help fellow citizens. Their concept of social justice is warped. When they hear the words social justice they hear “steal from the successful” when they should hear “help others succeed.” We can’t have over 80% of the money concentrated in the hands of the top 2% earners. It only makes sense that if you were successful off of society, you should be more than happy to give some back to help give others the chance to succeed.
They’ll start saying, 18:08 “You better take your government hands off my public option!”
It’s sad but true, they probably will be saying that when most of the country is finally serious about bringing in single payer.
