Uuh.. I dunno what to say… I live in Sweden so our healtcare is free but our taxes is pretty high…. But I don’t care that our taxes are high ’cause it only means that we value human life more than money ^^
I hope that one day health care all over the world will be free…

did you happen to listen to what the black people said on the news when he was elected? they didnt care what obama was going to do. they just wanted to see a “Brotha” in the white house. and who is to say that america isnt racist. maby Obama is doing a swell job fixing the economy? maby he is but companies dont want a black prez to suceed so they dont hire people.
america is going to fall apart. the goverment wants to throw money like candy trying to make the problems just go away. and prices of shit isnt going up. the value of the money is going down caus they keep printing money they dont have. the election was nothing but a race wars. 50% of the voters didnt even listen to what was being said. they just voted black or white. ill tell you that the black people didnt vote white now did they. they jsut electid him caus they were black. and that is fact.
What it comes down to is, we want that control over our own lives. You can pay extra and get excelent care without waits or you can get a cheaper policy that maybe dosen’t cover as much or has higher co pmts. It is OUR choice. Denial of care is rare. If you have a major health issue you can get disability. All these stories of people going broke are greatly exaggerated. A gov run health stripps us of OUR choice over OUR lives.
You gripe when the gov tells you to clean up your farm but then you want them to control your medical care. You need to make a decision. Do you want the gov to run your life like a parent or do you want to control your own life?
Aye yae yae…There’s only two things that you’re assured in this game called life: taxes, and death. I’m not sure I completely agree with Obama’s healthcare program, based on what he’s proposed so far. But then again, at least McCain’s not in power.
People in America don’t have a problem helping those in need, they just don’t want the Government forcing them to do so. There are some Americans who give away more money in one year, in donations, than some people make in 10 years!
I like Dave’s vids on mechanical things but he is incoherent about the Canadian health care system. He says it is so good and works so well and then follows it up by saying the Doctors are leaving for greener pastures (better compensation) and there are long waiting times based on too few doctors. I would say that statement alone qualifies Canada’s health care system as a failing one much in need of correction.

It’s frightening to see how somebody is willing to lie that comprehensively in order to get their way. Probably financed by insurance co. dollars. Mine was a very valid comparison in that I do not pay 45K in taxes to have a free health care system. I pay only for my own insurance, not somebody else’s!
he dident mention that the drs from canada have to pay taxes in us and canada same as if we go work there we have to pay taxes from hear and there so there paying more taxes in the long run andmake a hell of a lot more money
